In this lecture, we'll learn about Pangaea, Alfred Wegener and his continental Drift theory, the internal structure of the Earth, plate boundaries, and the theory of plate tectonics. It will be evident why natural phenomena such as volcanoes, mountains, tsunamis, and earthquakes occur. And not just why they occur, why where they tend to occur, such as the "Ring of Fire." No background knowledge is needed for this course, just an open mind, and a healthy imagination. There is no homework. All that's required is a comfortable chair, your undivided attention, and most importantly, your imagination! The class is suitable for any age with a curious mind and an interest in Earth Science.

My name is Neil and I’ve spent a considerable amount of my life in preparation for Science Education. I have 20 years of college teaching experience as a Professor. My Master's research was in the field of Condensed Matter Physics, and my Ph.D. research was in the field of Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics. I am a published scientific author in several international journals and I have traveled extensively to all 8 Continents on Earth, including all 50 States in the United States! The content of my lectures is meant to be a resource for anyone curious about how the Universe works.
