このクラスで学べること
During this lesson, learners will work with me and the group to plan their dream trip to Japan after learning about trip planning and the tools used. This class has been adjusted for a younger learner. Students will NOT end class with a complete itinerary in most cases as it takes weeks/months to plan a trip, but this will get them in the right direction with the tools they need. Day 1 Will consist of myself showing students the tools I use when making my itineraries for all my trips....
Students will learn a valuable life skill in trip planning that is accompanied by organizing skills and research skills. Plus learning about another culture is always a good thing that helps us keep an open mind. Students will NOT end class with a complete itinerary as it takes weeks/months to plan a trip, but this will get them in the right direction with the tools they need.
Being a world traveler, Japan is one of the many beautiful countries that I have been lucky enough to have visited multiple times. I have done extensive research of Japan as I was going to live there while teaching ESL in local schools. Covid-19 kept me from doing that for now, but I have studied for many years about the culture as it was going to be my new home and have witnessed the culture first hand in my many trips to the country.
Only things students will need during the class will be google.com. Better if they have a google account themselves or parents' as we will be using google web based apps (free). These are what will be presented and work the best, so if parents want to make sure the student has a google account that can be used that would be appreciated. If not Microsoft Word also works the same minus some important features. Google accounts are free and easy to setup but not needed. Also after teaching this class with students on Ipads and tablets, this class works better on a desktop/laptop as screen-sharing is easier and quicker to jump between tabs.
