This one-time class is an opportunity to come and play some piano performance pieces in a concert format and dress up or dress normally. Students will have the chance to volunteer to play pieces that we have worked on in previous classes or that they have practiced on their own. All piano players are welcome including Mrs. Pauli's current students or learners who take lessons from other instructors' classes or privately. Performers have the option to volunteer as many times as they want during the class while taking turns with other learners rotationally. All levels of learners benefit from the chance to practice for a concert and perform for others.

Learners have the opportunity to have a goal date to practice pieces for performance. Learners will also be introduced to performance etiquette like introducing themselves, announcing their song choices, and applauding other performers.

Hello! I am Mrs. Pauli. I am an online piano teacher for students who want to play songs and learn to read music! I have been a private piano teacher and music instructor for over 28 years after earning my BA in Music at California State University, Long Beach. My strength is in introducing music theory and piano skills to young students in a way that makes learners feel successful and confident. Students feel accomplished playing beautiful songs on piano while learning to read music and seeing their practice efforts pay off.
My classes run in a series starting from Piano Music Class Level A (or Primer), next into Piano Music Class Level B through Piano Music Class Level J as consistent piano classes. Each class is billed weekly so learners can enroll in the appropriate level at any time based on mastery.

I create my own curriculum so no book purchases are necessary and music is provided for learners. There are also performance opportunities, optional game classes, and holiday seasonal song classes. A January 2025 survey of the Piano Music Class J (advanced) students found that they have all been playing consistently for an average of 4 years and practice for an average of 3 hours total per week! Each of their schedules is uniquely dependent on family calendars and other commitments. They all intend to continue playing piano at least through high school or forever 💖. If you want to instill a love for music and piano in your learner, encourage a practice routine that is appropriate for their age and the level of material so they build the skills and experience consistent growth.
