週あたりの授業時間数 40 分宿題:
週1時間. We will be progressing through songs at a pace of one song per 2 weeks. Students need to practice the songs between classes to have a repertoire of many songs by the end of the semester. 🕒Recommended practice time is 15 minutes per practice, 2-3 times between classes. If a class is missed, the recording will be available on our classroom page and the slideshow will still be emailed with the new song and homework. Learners will be ready to graduate from Piano Music Class Level A when they have completed at least 5-7 of the 10 songs comfortably and while watching the music.テスト
✉️ Near the end of each seasonal term (Winter Term, Spring Term, Summer Term, Fall Term), an email will be sent to each learner with the recommendation for remaining in the current class for more mastery or moving on to the next level for more challenging material. Recommendation to advance to the next level will also be emailed when proficiency is observed by Mrs. Pauli in class.この文章は自動翻訳されています

🎉 This introductory small group piano class is for learners who are interested in playing the piano with each hand and starting to learn to read music. 🎶Every week, learners will be given an exercise or song to practice and a lesson in reading music. 👀 See the full 2025 calendar at the bottom of this class description 👇 press "Show More" Benefits of a group class over private lessons are: ⏲️ More affordable class for a longer session, 🙃 Hearing other learners around the same level making mistakes too, 🥳 Witnessing the benefits of practice done by others in their improvement, 👏 Having an audience in the next class that is not just your teacher (peers) as a reason to practice between classes. 🎹 Learners need to have a piano or keyboard during class to play along with Mrs. Pauli. 💻 Learners will need to be able to see their screen to view the music while playing on their instrument. No book purchases will be necessary in this class. All music has been arranged by Mrs. Pauli and will be provided and printable after class. A 3-ring binder with plastic page protectors is a great way to keep songs organized. 🎼This class is a fun piano class for students who are just starting playing piano or keyboard. 🔠 If your student is an absolute beginner, I recommend one of the Introductory courses: Piano Music Class Level A - 50 minute class with music reading instruction *This Class* or Self-Paced Piano Lessons Level A - 4 week pre-recorded class with email interaction https://outschool.com/classes/piano-lessons-level-a-3CBViqyY 🗓️ The Piano Music Class series, PMC Level A (Primer) through PMC Level J are recurring classes designed so your learner can stay at the appropriate level until they are ready to graduate to the next level. 📈 Learners can progress through the Piano Music Class Series with Mrs. Pauli for over 4 years of consistent piano class material. At the end of the Series, learners should have the ability to read all sheet music, play beautiful pieces on piano, and 🔥have experienced the benefits of regular effort and practice in a skill🔥. 🎹Practicing between classes is highly recommended and would be necessary for continuous progression through levels of the Piano Music Class series as the material increases in difficulty for each level. ✅Please schedule your practice times as part of your commitment to piano classes in order to progress through the music at an enjoyable rate. Studies have shown that piano students who practice between lessons pursue music longer and have a better experience in lessons. This is an article from Steinway & Sons about the benefits of practicing piano: https://www.steinway.com/news/features/the-benefits-of-playing-piano. Outschool's no-show policy is that class will be closed after 10 minutes if no learners have logged on. https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/16379-learning-experience-pledge Winter Term dates: January 6 - January 12: Warm-ups, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Treble Clef notes January 13 - January 19: Warm-ups, Exercise #1, Mary Had a Little Lamb January 20 - January 26: Warm-ups, Ode to Joy, Bass Clef notes January 27 - February 2: Warm-ups, Exercise #2, Ode to Joy February 3 - February 9: Warm-ups, Bingo Was His Name-O, Treble Clef notes February 10 - February 16: Warm-ups, Exercise #3, Bingo Was His Name-O February 17 - February 23: Warm-ups, Ten Little Pumpkins, Bass Clef notes February 24 - March 2: Warm-ups, Exercise #4, Ten Little Pumpkins March 3 - March 9: Warm-ups, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Treble Clef notes March 10 - March 16: Warm-ups, Exercise #5, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ***Spring Break*** No Class (no charges) Spring Term Dates: March 24 - March 30: Warm-ups, Jingle Bells, Bass Clef notes March 31 - April 6: Warm-ups, Exercise #6, Jingle Bells April 7 - April 13: Warm-ups, Row Row Row Your Boat, Treble Clef notes April 14 - April 20: Warm-ups, Exercise #7, Row Row Row Your Boat April 21 - April 27: Warm-ups, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie, Bass Clef notes April 28 - May 4: Warm-ups, Exercise #8, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie May 5 - May 11: Warm-ups, Fancy Hot Cross Buns, Treble Clef notes May 12 - May 18: Warm-ups, Exercise #9, Fancy Hot Cross Buns May 19 - May 25: Warm-ups, Can-Can, Bass Clef notes May 26 - June 2 (No lesson on Memorial Day - US Holiday) Warm-ups, Exercise #10, Can-Can ***Summer Break*** No Class (no charges) Summer Term Dates: June 16 - June 22: Warm-ups, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Treble Clef notes June 23 - June 29: Warm-ups, Exercise #1, Mary Had a Little Lamb June 30 - July 6: Warm-ups, Ode to Joy, Bass Clef notes July 7 - July 12: Warm-ups, Exercise #2, Ode to Joy July 13 - July 19: Warm-ups, Bingo Was His Name-O, Treble Clef notes July 20 - July 26: Warm-ups, Exercise #3, Bingo Was His Name-O July 27 - August 3: Warm-ups, Ten Little Pumpkins, Bass Clef notes August 4 - August 10: Warm-ups, Exercise #4, Ten Little Pumpkins August 11 - August 17: Warm-ups, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Treble Clef notes August 18 - August 24: Warm-ups, Exercise #5, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ***Fall Break*** No Class (no charges) Fall Term Dates: September 8 - September 14: Warm-ups, Jingle Bells, Bass Clef notes September 15 - September 21: Warm-ups, Exercise #6, Jingle Bells September 22 - September 28: Warm-ups, Row Row Row Your Boat, Treble Clef notes September 29 - October 5: Warm-ups, Exercise #7, Row Row Row Your Boat October 6 - October 12: Warm-ups, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie, Bass Clef notes October 13 - October 19: Warm-ups, Exercise #8, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie October 20 - October 26: Warm-ups, Fancy Hot Cross Buns, Treble Clef notes October 27 - November 2: Warm-ups, Exercise #9, Fancy Hot Cross Buns November 3 - November 9: Warm-ups, Can-Can, Bass Clef notes November 10 - November 16 Warm-ups, Exercise #10, Can-Can November 17 - November 23: Warm-ups, Frosty the Snowman ***Thanksgiving week*** No Class (no charges) December 1 - December 7: Warm-ups, Frosty the Snowman, Treble Clef notes December 8 - December 14: Warm-ups, Auld Lang Syne December 15 - December 21: Warm-ups, Auld Lang Syne, Bass Clef notes ***Winter Holiday Break*** No Class (no charges)

Google Slideshow links for each lesson are provided after class to the learner's Outschool system email. Music slides may be printed for practicing off screens.
Any youtube videos posted on the Classroom page will be opened in a small window on Outschool. Learners will NOT be asked to go to Youtube on their own.
受講に必要なもの
🎹 Access to a piano or keyboard during lesson where the learner's elbows are the same height as the keys. 🔥 Keyboards on tables are often too high (chest or shoulder height) which can harm wrists and hinder movement 🔥. Stand at the keyboard, find a tall chair, use a cushion, or use a keyboard stand to make the keys at the proper level. 💻Students need to be able to see the classroom screen where the music will be shown in a slideshow while they are sitting at their piano. 👂It is very important to make sure I can hear your piano and that it is not blocked by the background noise suppression through Zoom. 👉**Please turn on "Original Sound for Musicians" in the Zoom audio settings before class. ** If you need instructions on how to enable this setting, please watch this youtube tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZMRtrSsYY Students using a desktop or laptop can adjust this setting during the meeting. However, students using a phone or tablet must enable Original Sound before entering the class or I may not be able to hear your piano. In some instances the "Original Sound for Musicians" still does not work on some microphones, if that is the case with your device, we may try to use a "Low" noise suppression setting instead of "Auto". Please test your device in a zoom call to see if the microphone picks up the piano without anyone talking at the same time. 🎼 After each class, Learners will get access to a class slideshow in their email with the songs, exercises, or homework pages weekly for practicing. A 3-ring binder and plastic page protectors may help you keep the printed music sheets organized. 📝 Learners may like having paper and pencil.
