The learner will read and play notes on the treble staff and bass staff in C position and G position.

*When analyzing selected music, read and identify by name or function standard symbols for rhythm, pitch, articulation, and dynamics.
*Perform music, alone or with others, with expression, technical accuracy, and appropriate interpretation.

Learner should practice between each lesson to be prepared for the next week. Video demonstrations of songs will be posted on the classroom to assist with practice between classes. The pacing of this course may be adjusted as needed. Assignments will be given at the end of each class.

Learners will for formally assessed on identifying notes and identifying note values (activity sheets).
