This class listing is for a electronic keyboard or piano lessons.  These classes are recommended for beginner players, intermediate players, or advanced players who are looking to develop new skills and further their technique. 

During these lessons, we focus on building up the individual learner's goals, skills, and interests. During classes, topics we may work on include, but are not limited to reading rhythmic, melodic, or harmonic notation; playing chord progressions; how to use pre-programmed accompaniment tracks; fingering techniques; creating harmonic progressions; reading lead sheets; and creating melodies. Students will also be supported in developing appropriate playing position and independence.

In the event that the minimum enrollment for this class is not met, the teacher still plans to teach the class in the hopes of other learners joining. Parents, if you prefer that your learner ONLY work in a group and do not want them to be a single learner in class, please message the instructor to let her know.

Please keep in mind that each learner progresses at their own unique pace. As one-on-one classes, each lesson will be customized for the needs of the learner within the scope of the materials. 

PARENTS: 
 - Please be certain your learner has access to the instrument DURING class. 
 - Please make sure your leaner knows how to mute/unmute in Zoom so that s/he can immediately try any idea presented in class or ask questions as needed
 - If your learner is using an electronic keyboard, please be certain that there is sufficient battery power or (preferred) the keyboard's power supply is plugged into the wall. 
 - Please check notes below regarding camera placement
 - Learning materials (song sheets, theory sheets, and worksheets) will be provided through the Outschool class page as printables. Materials will be screen shared during class. Provided files can be printed for practice or can be viewed on a device provided that the screen is large enough to be easily read (tablet). Phones are not recommended for this class or for practicing.
