Soyoung has won top prizes in competitions and performed in halls, including Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at Alice Tully Hall, Young Classical Virtuosos of Music at Perlman Theater at Kimmel Center, The New York Performers Prize Competition at Steinway Hall in NYC, AMTL Young Musicians Competition in Carnegie Hall, and Vivo International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall. Soyoung is a recent graduate of Masters of Music Piano Performance degree at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she also holds her Bachelor of Music Piano Performance degree.
