Have you ever wanted to compose your own song on the piano but you don't know where to start? During this 2-day composing camp you will learn how to create your own melody in the treble clef, along with chords in the bass clef. We will start by listening to famous classical pieces that have "motives" (Beethoven's 5th Symphony, Raindrop Prelude) and examine how motives are formed. We will practice forming our own motives using different picture cards to give us inspiration! After developing...
