このクラスで学べること
We will begin each class reviewing the letter sounds that we will be covering. Each week we will look at one CVC word family such as (-an) and build words using the patterns taught. We will cover CVC words using the vowels (a,e, i,o,u). My classes are structured in a manner where the students have fun while learning. Lessons are created with developmentally appropriate activities that honor each child and their style of learning. This class will be a hands on and interactive where students will have opportunities to write or build words using the word family of the week as well as play games such as word family bingo and memory. Week of 7/18: ( -an) word family Week of 7/25: (-ad)word family Week of 8/1: (-ap) word family Week of 8/8: (-at) word family Week of 8/15: (-it) family Week of 8/22: (-in) family * we will meet on Monday 8/22 this week instead of Tuesday. Week of 8/29: (-en) family Week of 9/5: (-op) family *Tuesday 9/6 this section will start meeting @ 5:30 for my back to school schedule.

Students will verbally blend, separate add or substitute individual sounds in simple consonant/vowel/consonant (CVC) words. Students will begin to recognize the patterns in these words to improve reading fluency.

受講に必要なもの
Paper and writing materials are encouraged for practice. Your child can also use magnetic letters if they are more comfortable building their words that way. Weekly sheets may be sent home if necessary for games or activities that we may be doing during a session. They will be sent out before our class time.
