In each phonics lesson, students will learn a new letter (or digraph) of the alphabet. They will learn how to recognize each letter and its corresponding sound(s). We will practice saying the sound that each letter makes, read and make words that begin and end with each letter, and practice writing the letters in both lowercase and uppercase. Students will gain a better understanding of each letter through worksheets, the use of new vocabulary, as well as through practice in a guided lesson. With over 15 years of experience as a historian and educator, I have had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of subjects and age groups, from history to English and everything in between. I am also certified in TEFL, and I truly enjoy working with ESL students from diverse backgrounds.
