Class Experience:

-The class starts by reading the recipe and learning to read with the proper intonation. 

-Next we translate it together, to understand how to proceed to make the recipe at home. 

-We move on to covering the vocabulary on the second page and show the similarities to any languages the learners might know. 

-Last, we finish by coloring the pictures on our vocabulary page. 

-Each week, you collect a new recipe to put in a binder to create your cookbook. 
This engaging and interactive class combines learning to read a recipe and understand the steps involved when cooking, creativity with coloring ingredients and tools, and language learning with reading basics and vocabulary, offering children a unique experience. 

Here's an overview of the activities:

*Learning children will learn the different steps in French to prepare simple and delicious recipes. 

*Language Learning: Throughout the class, participants will learn and practice French vocabulary related to cooking. Words like mélanger (mix), cuire (cook), and déguster (taste) will be incorporated into the activities to make language acquisition fun and practical.

*Creating a Personalized Cookbook: Each participant will document their cooking journey by creating a personalized cookbook. This includes decorating pages with coloring, and adding notes in French. 

*Cultural Immersion: Beyond cooking, the class introduces elements of French culture, such as traditions tied to food preparation and dining. This creates a deeper connection to the language and its cultural context.

*Bonding Experience: The class is also designed to strengthen parent-child relationships by working together on enjoyable tasks, sharing laughs, and tasting their culinary creations in their home kitchen. 

*This class offers a memorable way for families to explore French cuisine, improve language skills, and unleash their creativity—all while having fun!
