In this class, we are simply meeting to discuss our pets and how we care for them. This class is meant to be a space where students get to talk with other kids their age and discuss the animals that they love so much. The class will begin with me showing and talking about my dogs, to give the students an example of how they should present their pets. Then, one at a time, they will be encouraged to share their pets with the rest of class. After each student shares their pet the other students...
Students will learn to discuss things they are passionate about with their peers. Students will work on social skills. Students will practice talking and being a part of a group. Students will learn about the many different animals that can be kept as pets.
Students will only need a pet for this class.
