This ongoing class will take learners back to the golden age of piracy in the 17th and 18th centuries. Students will learn about history through the lens of some of the most famous pirates that ever lived. Each week we will cover a different famous pirate: Week of Oct 22 - 28: Cully Week of Oct 29 - Nov 4: Every Learners will be engaged in learning through the art of storytelling. This course takes students back in time to when the world was relatively unexplored and lawless. Learners will learn the difference between a pirate and a privateer, as well as the causes of piracy in general. Because this is an ongoing class, students can join anytime. Each lesson is a stand-alone journey into the life of a famous pirate. Aaarrr you going to join us for a great time, matey?
