Pen a Pokemon is a one-time writing class for Pokemon fans!  Who doesn't want to create their very own personal Pokemon? In this class, writers will use a unique code to generate the name of their individual Pokemon-themed character. Students will then write a 6-8 sentence descriptive paragraph describing their Pokemon in great detail. 

Bonus! The class ends with a fun trading card activity. Together we will use the entire writing process (brainstorming, writing, revision, and final writing) to complete our writing activity. 

Who's your character?

Outschoolers in my themed writing classes write a detailed 6-8 sentence paragraph. We focus on learning the paragraph formula of; topic, supporting and concluding sentences, writing strong descriptive sentences, and finally reviewing our work for corrections.  Spelling and grammatical errors are going to be made, and guess what, that is fine! My goal is to enable your student to enter into the writing process with excitement and fun!
