Learners will learn how to train their dogs to do various tricks using treats and a clicker if available. Learners will also understand the difference between a trick and a command. Teacher is an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and tester observer with Alliance of Therapy Dogs and has trained and certified five therapy dogs of her own. Some tricks are not recommended for older or arthritic dogs. Also, dogs do not learn at the same pace and some tricks are more suited for certain breeds.

Dog training treats, leash, dog, small pieces of meat or cheese, clicker (optional) and a bell.
Dogs are unpredictable and may not all learn at the same rate. Some dogs may not be able to due certain tricks due to age and size. Also, space is needed to do tricks. Dogs are recommended to be able to sit and be at least 4 months old.
