Students who are passionate about becoming better actors will learn the steps to acting in and performing self-directing open scenes (AKA AB scenes) through making strong, bold, and interesting choices. They will be assigned a partner to work with in breakout rooms where they will rehearse short interpretive scenes with their partner while the teacher bounces from room to room for guidance (for approximately 15-20 minutes of the class). Erin Coley previously owned a theatre and has been teaching children's theatre for over 20 years! She have tons of enthusiasm and energy and loves to help students develop confidence and a passion for theatre! Erin feels strongly that open scenes are a fantastic tool for teaching many aspects of acting, directing, and effective observation and communication.
