Students will grow in their understanding of the paragraph writing process, and in their ability to write quality paragraphs. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12.  For the past several years I have taught small group English classes, including how to write paragraphs.

Students are welcome to write an original paragraph independently each week and send it to me in an Outschool message. Students who chose to submit original paragraphs for feedback will receive a personalized video outlining strengths and areas for growth. This is completely optional.

Students will be informally assessed through class discussion and practice to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs.  There is no formal assessment.  I will also provide practical feedback on all work submitted outside of class.
