Origami is the art of folding paper. 

It helps one develop the following skills:

In this class, students will be learning how to make a beautiful origami puffy heart. This heart design can be used for multiple purposes. You can use it to decorate your room, turn it into a garland or write a message on it and give it to your family and friends on valentine's day or even write a thank you or get well soon message on it. I will be working with my students step by step as I demonstrate how to make this origami puffy heart. After this, the students will have a chance to try and make this project on their own. If they require assistance I will be there to help. If there is enough time each student should be able to show what they have learned by the end of the lesson. If a student is unable to learn how to make an origami puffy heart a link to an instructional video will be provided afterward. No previous experience is required. Please come to class prepared and ready to learn something new.
