In this class, I will teach a private art lesson to your child based upon their interests and goals that we agree upon in class. I will assess your child's skill level, ask them what they want to learn, and we will work on lessons based upon that information. Class has a "show and tell" time, lesson time, and question/answer time in each class. Class topics are emergent, so be prepared that your child will work on something a bit different each time depending on what they want to work on...
Students will improve on technical skills in art and be encouraged to grow their confidence and art practice in whatever direction they want their work to take.
Students should bring art supplies for each class. Minimum: pencil with soft eraser and drawing paper. Optional: students can work in other media such as acrylic paint, watercolor, colored pencils, etc.
