Students, with teacher guidance, will solve logic puzzles by using their reading comprehension skills, deductive reasoning, and the visual representation on a grid. In class, we will solve some basic logic puzzles together. Your child can read the clues, they can be read by the teacher, or we can take turns reading. We then will discuss each clue and how it relates to the items in the grid. We must use our reading and listening comprehension skills to determine the meaning of each clue. By learning how to solve basic logic puzzles, students can then advance to more complex logic puzzles. It is a fun, life-long hobby. The puzzles will change with each class.

I have a master's degree in School Psychology. I've worked as a School Psychologist with kids ages 3 - 18 in public and parochial schools for over 21 years. I've worked with students who struggle with learning and who have behavioral and mental health needs.
I've also been an online teacher for over four years, teaching English to students in China and other parts of the world. I'm familiar with the convenience and limitations of the online learning experience. I encourage discussion in my classroom.
