The class is taught by a teacher who is very experienced with children who have learning needs. We ensure that the lessons and worksheets are inclusive. We can also adapt learning materials for specific needs if required.
All materials for each lesson will be posted in the classroom at least 24 hours in advance. Learners should print out the class worksheet and bring it to the lesson so that we can complete it together. They should also have a supply of basic stationary such as paper, pencils, crayons, scissors and glue.
Worksheets that require any cutting out will be posted in the classroom at least a few days before the lesson with a warning that cutting out is required. This gives the parent the option of cutting out for the child before the class. If you would like your child to complete the cutting out themselves then please ensure that they are supervised appropriately when using scissors.
The geographical information from the course will be sourced from books that present a factual view without any bias and are used in many schools all over the world. The key sources are: - Geography of the World (DK Eyewitness Companion Guide) - DK Findout! Earth
