1 年生から 3 年生までの数学家庭教師セッションの 1 回限りのクラスです。学習者が遭遇する難しい数学の問題に取り組めるよう、基本的な数学スキルを指導します。また、お子様が現在取り組んでいる難しい数学の問題にも取り組みます。

このクラスで学べること
In this class we will be focusing on math skills. We will take a step back and start with basic skills and work up to any tricky problems that are being worked on. Taking a step back and looking at the basic math skills will help students feel confident before we move on to the tricky problems that they are needing help with. This one time class will meet live for 55 minutes. I will use a white board and manipulatives. Students will need a pencil, paper, and some kind of counter/manipulative. This can be blocks, little bears, or goldfish.

We will be using google slides for most of our activities. I will share my screen to present the google slides. I will not be sending the link to students so they will not need access to a google account. I will also be using resources from boomlearning.com. Again, I will share my screen with students and they will interact with it through me. They will not need to have access to the site.

Students will need paper, pencil, and counters of your choice (this can be blocks, small bears, goldfish, etc.)

Hello! My name is Mrs. Moog. I am an elementary teacher and taught elementary grades 2-4 for 4 years and preschool for 1. I love teaching and helping students understand the why behind what they are doing. I try to make learning fun for all students. When I was in elementary school I struggled with reading and it was hard. I want students I work with to have a different experience than I did. I want students to feel welcome and unafraid to make mistakes. My goal is for students to be excited to learn and eager to try new things. I love math, puzzles, and camping.
