Students will improve or expound on their understanding of the topic requested beforehand and presented during the tutoring session.  

I am a licensed secondary math teacher with six years of classroom experience.  I also hold experience teaching Algebra 1 standardized tests in which my students performed well on a state level and showed growth from previous grade levels.

Informal assessments are conducted throughout each meeting to determine student understanding as we progress.  A written report of the student's progress may be requested by parents periodically to determine whether any adjustments need to be made to the instruction they are receiving.
