Parents, do you need assistance teaching your learner?....

This class is designed to offer parent's or caregivers a practical resource to help support their learner’s educational journey! These tutoring classes are individualized to learner's needs, however, example tutoring topics might include elementary math (number sense, addition, multiplication, etc), phonics, sight words, etc...

I LOVE to move learners away from an "I can't.", "This is boring.", "I don't like it." attitude into an "I can!", "This is fun!", "I like learning!"... attitude. 😃✨

With my intentional, positive, multi-sensory approach to learning I'm sure both you and your learner will leave class wanting MORE!!

Please note:📍Ongoing tutoring can meet as little as once per week, however, I generally suggest at least twice per week to ensure momentum and assist with retention. Classes can also be held more depending on your learners needs, specific goals, and their crafted curriculum plan. (( Classes run between 30-35 minutes in duration. ))

👩‍🏫 What ENROLLMENT looks like: 

1st ▶️ We will communicate regarding your learner’s individual needs.

Example Need ⬇️ 
Learner is having a difficult time remembering letter sounds.

2nd ▶️ We will agree upon and set 1-2 specific goals with clear and measurable outcomes for your learner.

Example Goal ⬇️
Learner will be able to recognize 21 of 26 letter sounds after 12 class sessions.

3rd ▶️ I will craft a personal and individualized curriculum plan targeting your learner’s needs and specific goals. (This can include the curation, creation, and utilization of different resources other than myself.)

Example Class Structure/Content ⬇️ 
(1) Opening Activity: Letter sound wheel spin (review previous letter sounds).
(2) Instructional Goal: Interactive computer activity "game". The student will listen to letter sounds and identify the correct letter.
(3) Closing Activity: Student will select 3 of 6 letters by their letter sounds to reveal personalized student prizes. 

4th ▶️ We will begin the execution of our curriculum plan and closely monitor your learner’s progress adjusting as we go.

3️⃣ Was an in-person classroom teacher for 4 years in one of the most challenging areas of Houston (I loved it 😃... quit when my twins were born.)
4️⃣ I have crafted my on-camera presence while teaching elementary age students from across the world virtually for 5+ years.
5️⃣ I’m dedicated to learning and am currently in my first year of homeschooling my 5 year old twin boys 👦🏾👦🏾 (Kindergarteners)!
