To clean up and put away all items they showed at the end of class.Class Experience
When COVID hit and we were all inside-I created this class to get our children moving and excited to share and see others outside their homes. The class was a huge hit and I filled my days with classes helping me and my students to giggle and laugh! We are now back to our new normal activity but the need to connect with others, move your body, and giggle and laugh will never go away! JOIN US FOR SOME MIND STIMULATING GIGGLES, and a little or a lot of physical movement! Wake up and let's get moving! Students will be given a one-word clue (example: squishy, delicate, old, etc.) and then one minute to find an item they feel is described by that word. They will then return to the camera and explain why the item works for the given word. These clues are meant to stimulate their minds to think outside the box and have fun! We will discuss rules for the game such as not running, returning all items to their place, having respect for others in the class, good listening skills, paying attention to the time given, and we'll talk about returning all items shown to their rightful place when class is over! We must have 3 students to begin a section of this class. It's so much more fun with friends and harder with just 1 or 2! Who do you know who'd like to play? Invite them! The class will be broken down as such: 1. Introductions 2. Rules of the game including clean up and putting all items you've got out away when we are finished. 3. Our scavenger hunt 3. Final comments The items we search for and discuss change each week. We'll search for something squishy, red, a square food, something long and flat, something sweet smelling, or maybe stinky! etc. etc. Our clue words will change each week for a year and then begin again! ***This class would be a fun, interactive game for your child's birthday, summer friend get together, etc. indoors or outdoors and I've done a number of them during and after COVID. I can book private party sessions to fit your plans. Give me 45 minutes with the gang (longer if you wish) while you get ready for other aspects of the party! Message me for more details!!*** Parties cost $75 for 45 minutes and $100 for 1 hour.
Learning Goals
I invite all students to join in the search for unique items, thinking outside the box, and coming back to the meeting with their found item engaging with others their age. Learn to share, use your voice, respect all friends, and have most of all fun!
