Students are welcomed and encouraged to share images of their work for feedback through Outschool chat. Feedback consists of positive reinforcement for specific things done well and curiosity questions about why they made a choice and what they might do differently next time (aka what did they learn).この文章は自動翻訳されています

Our club will meet on the first 4 Fridays of January. Each week we will level up our drawing skills in a fun and supportive environment. My presentation time is 5-8 minutes, which allows the majority of the 35 minute time available to support students in their drawing. The projects we will be doing are: January 3: OC January 10: Copycat January 17: Copycat January 24: OC I look forward to supporting and interacting with students through their preferred means of communication - whether that’s by video, audio or chat. I love the quote from Aristotle, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” That is why we focus on Student choice and Student voice in class. This way the mind and the heart are both engaged with the learning. When we are kind to ourselves our mistakes become sources of inspiration and an opening to a gateway of learning that no teacher, like myself, could ever teach. Also, I believe a positive relationship with mistakes reinforces the importance of student choice and student voice. Therefore my classroom motto is, “It is a gift to make mistakes. Everyday. Everyday. Everyday!” Another reason for Student voice and choice is that when Students feel valued they are more likely to create work of value. And we (the home support, the teachers and students) all want work of value to be the outcome of this class and all educational opportunities. And because we all want the best for the Students learning I will share a brief communication after each class with You and the Student. This communication will include positive feedback and a question or two of curiosity to further engage the learning process. We are all in this together. So let’s go! Sign up now :)
