このクラスで学べること
Students will learn a process for how to effectively highlight/ take notes/ analyze/ annotate a text. This process makes it so that kiddos have a better understanding of what they are reading as they read. This system also sets the student up to have a much easier time recalling or going back to find answers for a test, discussion, essay, etc. The process is universally applied to fictional stories, nonfiction texts, poems, songs, etc. For anything a student might need to comprehend and recall, this process will surely help them out!! Not only is it something I have successfully used in my own classroom for six years, but I also used the process myself as an undergraduate and master’s student!

Hello there! I am so excited to be here to teach you everything I know!
I have taught elementary school for 6 years, and I have been a summer school teacher or summer camp counselor for the past 6 summers as well. I am very passionate about making learning fun and engaging while maintaining a level of practicality and usefulness.
I have two Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Modern Language: Spanish.
I also have a Master's degree in Education: Mental Health Practices in Schools.
I love to teach everything from math (story problems, intro to fractions, etc.), intro to writing, literature, and science to cooking, baking, and gardening!
I am quite the foodie, and I love to travel and experience diverse and interesting foods. I hope to be able to share some of my favorite flavors in my Outschool classes with you!
