We will read the Newberry Honor book, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Students will be challenged to complete short note-taking, writing, and other projects after each class to make personal connections and help prepare for upcoming meetings. The teacher will provide slides, video clips, facilitated discussions, and games to play through Gimkit.com. NOTE: There is no need to create an account on Gimkit, as students just need to enter a code provided by the teacher in order to play the game. Here are some valuable summaries of this book from parents' perspectives. https://www.commonsensemedia.org/book-reviews/from-the-mixed-up-files-of-mrs-basil-e-frankweiler
