週あたり 1-2 時間. Students will know their results for interactive quiz questions on Nearpod. In addition, the teacher will ask learners to complete a few tasks such as filling out graphic organizers, designing a favorite scene, complete a few vocabulary activities and share them with her.

The teacher will continually review student responses and provide a report on a weekly basis as well after the final session in the course.

We will enjoy the Newberry Honor book, The Sign of the Beaver.  Students will be challenged to keep up with reading assignments and complete short note-taking, writing, and other extension activities after each class to make personal connections and help prepare for upcoming meetings.  The teacher will provide slides, video clips, facilitated discussions, and games to play through Gimkit.com.

Students will need to be able to accept assignments on Nearpod.com.  Please let me know if you have any issues creating a student account and it should be free of charge.

NOTE: There is no need to create an account on Gimkit.  Students just need to enter a code provided by the teacher in order to play the game.
