This club will be a fun way to explore the world together! From the chimpanzees of the equatorial African rainforests to the pink river dolphins of the Amazon, the grizzly bears of Alaska, and the Tasmanian devils of Australia, we will take a closer look at the ecosystems that are home to some of the most interesting, and often endangered, creatures on earth. Students will develop a better understanding of specific ecological regions and their relation globally, plus a deeper knowledge of the interesting animals around the world that inhabit them.
I am offering this class because I have had the unique experience of traveling extensively, and photographing wildlife along the way. I will share my excitement for learning about the earth's ecosystems through photos, stories, and cultural artifacts.
Print outs will occasionally be provided, and basic art supplies (paper, coloring utensils, scissors) are recommended.
