Welcome to Nailed It! Weekly Art History and Project Challenge Flex class! Each week students will be presented with a Nearpod lesson that incorporates embedded videos and activities that engage the learner while they discover each artist. Then learners will be encouraged to attempt to replicate the artist's technique in a Nailed It! Art Challenge. At the end of each Nearpod lesson, learners will be shown two art pieces by the artist of the day and they'll get to choose which project they...
Students will learn art history, art technique and create their own personal art project.
Students will need a sketch pad or paper, pencils, erasers, and colored pencils/markers/crayons. If students prefer, they may opt to use additional art supplies, but this is not required. Additional art supplies that may be used- old magazines, construction paper, glue, scissors, paint, etc. Be as creative as you wish!!
