Welcome to My Weird School!

⭐️ Reminder: This is a Self-Paced class. There are no live lessons. ⭐️

Week One & Two: Miss Daisy is Crazy

Week Three & Four: Mr. Klutz is Nuts



⭐️  This is a READ ALOUD book club. 

⭐️  Books 1 & 2 are read aloud to the students through my video lessons.

⭐️  Kahoot game will be given at the end of each week to check for understanding. 

⭐️  Character charts and a School Employee Chart will be completed

⭐️  Goal of a Read Aloud Book Club:
        Enjoy the book and foster a love of reading!

⭐️  Earn a special Weird School 1 & 2 bookmark to download when you complete the course!


🎯  I will teach reading skills and how to think while reading during my read aloud.

🎯  When I read aloud, I do it in an interactive format, even though it is recorded. 

🎯  I am NOT just reading the book. 

🎯  I am helping them process and become active readers!


⏰  Class Structure:

✅ Two videos per week.

✅ One Book read over two weeks.

✅ Kahoot is given at the end of each book.

✅ Charts will be completed as we read.

⭐️ 8 total videos- 2 Books Read- 2 Kahoots given- Unlimited laughs! ⭐️



🎯 Class Expectations:
Students should complete the work assigned and reach out to me if there are any questions. Students that are wanting to earn a grade for the course must upload their completed work by the end of the class. All work is self-checking or checked while watching a video. If, your child does not desire a grade, then their work does not need to be submitted.

🐶 My Classroom and Teaching Style:

My goal is to make learning as happy 🥳 and stress-free as possible! My classroom is fast-paced and interactive. It is a kind, caring, supportive, productive, silly, and just a little bit crazy kind of space! I want students to love class and enjoy showing up to learn with me. Students can only learn when they feel comfortable and safe! I provide that environment for my students, then watch as their learning soars! I have a personality- and I let that shine through on my self-paced course videos! I want the students to feel like they just had a live class with me. 😊
