Are you ready to sing, dance, and play your way through a musical adventure? In this ongoing music experience, classes with coordinate with Bluey episodes. The popular series makes extensive use of classical music, folksongs, instruments, and musical games, many of which we will explore in class. We will not be using characters, etc from Bluey; rather, we will use the episodes as a jumping off point for a musical exploration. Join us as we tell a story each week that explores the arts-- singing, instrumental music, great artwork, dance, and more-- as well as culture and nature. Every week will center around am episode that will be used as the foundation of a "musical workout." Beyond the initial story line, we will explore what our voices can do, practice echo and call-and-response songs, learn simple songs and rhymes with simple instruments made from items you can find in your home, explore music and art through movement, learn basic music concepts through fingerplays, action rhymes, and games, and practice steady beat and more complicated rhythms through songs and rhymes. Ms. Annette, who is certified in Feierabend's First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege, will be using the First Steps format as a foundation for this class. Young learners will be engaged in active listening, movement, creative dramatics, and other forms of arts exploration. This class will be active and collaborative, encouraging children to work together through collaborative storytelling. Classic artwork and music will be shared as well as childhood favorites. I will come prepared with a detailed lesson but am always ready to follow the learners' ideas and prior knowledge and love hearing their ideas for new adventures and explorations! 受講に必要なもの
Specific supplies for classes will be listed the week before each class and additional "missions" will be listed in the online classroom for in between classes. For every class, I suggest having the following materials gathered together in a basket where learners have access to them. These can be "real" instruments or improvised from materials you have at home * two wooden sticks, pencils, spoons, or something to use as rhythm sticks * something that jingles, such as a bell * a lightweight ball to roll and toss * a drum or something to use as a drum * a shaker, rattle, or container filled with small pebbles or stones * a scarf or something lightweight that can be moved to music, such as a muslin receiving blanket, a dishtowel, or a playsilk
