This class includes movement. It is recommended that the students participate in an open, uncluttered space free of possible hazards. Sometimes students might be directed to explore the whole room ("walk to all corners of your room.") but are generally advised to carry out movement on and around a mat. A yoga or exercise mat would be great to work on, as well as the children wearing ballet shoes or non-slip socks. Art projects are conducted on the floor, as well, and an exercise mat would protect the underlying floor.

No stretching is required ahead of class. Students can bring a bottle of water and should wear comfortable clothes that allow to move and dance.

Please acknowledge and fully understand that your child will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury.  Acknowledge that you have been advised that it is your responsibility to consult with your child’s physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, health problem or any other condition or medication that may affect your child’s participation.
