このクラスで学べること
In this class, students will decide together which familiar song we will use to create new lyrics to. Then, they will listen to the familiar song to feel the beat and clap along. We will focus on listening to songs with the purpose of finding the tempo, beat and lyrical placement. Then, we will write song theme ideas and phrases that we want to use in the song. I will be projecting and sharing a Jamboard. This is a sticky note program. This is the brainstorm time. We will also work on free styling as a way to flow into ideas. The students and I will sing the song as we create it as well as the end. We will play the karaoke/instrumental version so students can see how their song fits and sounds into the original melody.
