Students will listen to a song/album/movement of a larger work/etc. and use any art supplies around the home to create a masterpiece that conveys how the music makes them feel. This course doesn't teach new art skills, but rather gives the students an opportunity to get creative with their supplies and express themselves however they feel necessary, while also expanding their musical horizons. At the end of the class, the students will be given the opportunity to present their work to the...
Students will be developing their emotional competency and learning how to express the things they feel. They will also be exercising their creativity and exploring visual arts through experimenting with any and alert supplies they can get their hands on.
Supplies needed may be determined by the student. If they just want to use something as simple as printer paper and crayons for their art work, great! If they want to get crazy and make an oil painting on canvas, power to them! Art is in the eye of the beholder.
