Then its off to the cool stuff! From animating titles and stills to advanced special effects, morphing, tracking, masking, crafting 3D virtual environments and rotoscoping all the way to working with expressions to create wholly unique compositions. 教師の専門知識と資格
Hi! I'm Aviv.
Based in Halifax, Canada, I teach video editing on Adobe Premiere and After Effects, as well as digital image manipulation on Adobe Photoshop.
In 2011 I graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University (NSCAD) with a double major BfA in Jewellery & Metalsmithing and Intermedia.
After my graduation I began teaching extended studies at NSCAD. I have guided high-schoolers, on preparing their portfolios for art school applications, young adult professionals and even retired seniors.
In wake of the recent COVID-19 pandemic I decided to take my Con-Ed NSCAD classes and transform them into an online format. I have recently discovered Outschool and am excited to get started on this cool new platform!
Aside from teaching I also work as an independent video editor and graphic designer, and volunteer online as a youth mentor.
Teaching to me is first and foremost an exchange. I believe teaching to be a bond of trust. Especially in these times of social isolation, it has the power to bring people together. I am grateful to be a part of that process.
In addition to teaching and digital media, I also have a passion for languages. Currently I am learning Dutch. Aangenaam!
