We learn how women entered the acting world, and how censorship caused theatre productions to be limited in some instances. This is a cross between a history class and a virtual tour! Perfect for students without any background knowledge, geared to make history fun and interesting. In addition to lots of facts, students are encouraged to think critically and discuss in class various topics we cover. Throughout the class, there will be a chance to try your acting skills with fun exercises. The instructor will teach using discussion, slides, images and an interactive discussion. Students are encouraged to ask questions along the way and participate during the acting challenges.
