このクラスで学べること
In this class, learners will learn activities. Each meeting will stand alone. Learners will learn and review the letters of the alphabet. We will review letters and letter sounds during each meeting. Learners will also engage in circle time singing. We will sing the days of the week and Jack Hartman songs. Each meeting will stand alone and consist of: -Sing the days of the week song -Sing Alphabet letter sound song - Learn letters and numbers -1 sight word weekly Prek learners will practice letters and number recognition. 1st day of the week: Multisensory Math: Number recognition counting more and less 2nd day of the week Multisensory Reading learn 2 sight words and recognize the word learn letters and sounds. Learners should have: Pencil and paper during each lesson. Optional but recommended: Clay counters cheerios skittles etc. for math Week of August 9th Letters A (activities) Trace and handwriting worksheets Clay activity 1 sight word trace and clay activity counting 1-5 using counters Trace numbers 1-5 Week of August 16th Letters B (activities) Trace and handwriting worksheets Clay activity 1 sight word trace and clay activity counting 1-5 counting 1-5 using counters Trace numbers 1-5 August 23rd Letters c (activities) Trace and handwriting worksheets Clay activity 1 sight word trace and clay activity counting 1-5 counting 1-5 using counters Trace numbers 1-5 August 30th Letters D Trace and handwriting worksheets Clay activity 1 sight word trace and clay activity counting 1-5 counting 1-5 using counters Trace numbers 1-5 This class will follow the school year. We will begin the school year in August and end the school year in May. No school on major holidays: Labor day Veterans Day Thanksgiving week Winter holiday ( December 26-January 8th) Learners will be asked to bring items or toys that begin with the letter of the week. Also, learners will be asked to bring items like mini erasers, blocks, etc to count. I will provide learners with weekly packets and a newsletter completely optional. Worksheets are provided Sunday evening before class. This class is ongoing and will stand alone.
