We learn the ins and outs of how to select and prepare a monologue for audition and performance. Each week will feature a different lesson that we will discuss and put into action as we dive into our monologues each week. Each student will have a chance to perform their monologue each class and receive feedback on it, as we work to incorporate the lesson we are currently exploring. This course will be 100% interactive with the teacher and fellow classmates.

Choosing a Monologue
This week is all about how to choose a monologue that is perfect for you! We will go over where to find good monologues, proper monologue length, and how to select a piece that represents you well as a performer. Memorizing a whole monologue can feel scary. This week we will break down a series of helpful tips for memorizing our monologues. Given Circumstances
We will learn all about the foundation for a monologue: Given Circumstances. We will learn the 5 w's and why they are important to know when beginning work on a piece. Your Character's Want
This week is all about identifying why your character is giving your chosen monologue. Every character wants something and it is the driving force behind your piece. Once we determine what that want is, and connect it with ourselves, our pieces will begin to feel more lifelike. 90 分のオンラインライブレッスン
