Mrs. Alyx is a Canadian Certified Financial Planner Professional who works daily with people wanting to learn more about how to manage their money. Financial coaching always focuses on the individual - what do YOU want to do with YOUR money?

In ongoing 35-minute sessions and classroom interactions (3-4 sessions are recommended; learners can join anytime and can continue class on an ongoing basis), we will use videos, quizzes, visuals and PDF worksheets to learn more about money management and financial literacy skills. Each session will always address learner understanding and questions, as well as monthly general topics:

This class includes occasional personalized PDF worksheets for budgeting, goal setting, and class review.

Mrs. Alyx has lived and worked in Canada, England, and Japan and loves languages (she has studied French, German, Japanese, and Mandarin). She is comfortable teaching learners who are learning English as a second language, or who benefit from personalized tailoring of content and pace of lessons. Mrs. Alyx uses learner-directed interests to guide the lessons and will engage learners with visuals, additional handouts, and resources.
