In this 9-week course, we will cover a combination of Common Core standards from all disciplines and 21st-century skills. This course is appropriate for all skill levels. Students will be able to investigate and analyze new and existing interests.

Each class will begin with a mini-lesson reviewing a Common Core standard or 21st-century skill. The work period will be divided into small group/partner work and individual work. Each student will be responsible for their portion of each project. As part of this course, I will help students compile a portfolio of their work. We will be using Google Drive, Canva, and Nearpod. Some work may be done outside of class if students need extra time. This course is collaborative and responsive to the needs of students, and plans can be modified if needed.

Week 3: Art's Alive Project
Week 4: Time Warp Project
Week 5: Fashion Faux Pas Project
Week 6: Action News Project
Week 7: Brain Break Project
Week 8: Save the World Project
Week 9: Capstone Project

Students will receive rubric-based grades for each assignment and an overall average for the course. I will also send out individual messages at the end of the course to recommend the next steps for student growth.
