Important Note: CEFR: all levels Learner will enjoy a calming, meditative story time listening and participating to "Each Breath a Smile", inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh's mindful breathing technique, with images that are loving and kind, inviting learner to see beauty, goodness, and tranquility all around - like the still image of a mountain, the sweet sound of chirping birds - filling the heart and mind spaces with peace and harmony. During the story time, Learner will also be guided to learn how to breathe mindful way to calm down and relax. Learner will be encouraged to continue with mini mindful breathing practices, and ideas will be shared. This class is ideal for introducing learners to the relaxing mindful breathing technique through a story that is both beautiful and calming. It may also serve as an evening story to begin the winding down process. Class is one on one, so the child has ample opportunities to participate freely. For these reasons and for gauging Learner's interest level and to be able to adjust accordingly, I require open mics and video in my classes so there is a sense of community and engagement with the material. Class may be repeated as often as desired as there will always be a slightly different mindful breathing meditation. Parents of younger learners who may need more direct coaching are welcome to be with the young learner and offer their support as needed.

She is an experienced teacher in the fields of Yoga, Breathing, Meditation, as well as certified by Yale University in the Science of Happiness. Yet most importantly, she is a Mother, too.
