I maintain a daily practice and lifestyle that has integrated these techniques. I have taught Pre-K-12 mindfulness techniques using sounds to help focus and activate the brain for optimum learning. This area should include a comfortable seat, whether on a couch, chair, or the floor with a blanket, yoga mat, or pillow. Make sure they can remain undisturbed for 20 minutes by removing pets, digital devices, or any other distractions from the space, if possible. Students are welcome to have water nearby.
