このクラスで学べること
In this ongoing mindfulness course, students will develop essential self-awareness and self-management skills, all while learning to focus on the present moment. Through fun, engaging activities, learners will explore how to tune into their thoughts, feelings, and surroundings—helping them take care of both themselves and the people around them. They’ll practice identifying and managing their emotions through a growth mindset, seeing challenges as opportunities for learning and development. We cover techniques like mindful journaling, body scans, and calming exercises to help kids stay centered and grounded in their everyday lives. We also learn how to ask for help, set healthy boundaries, and resist negative social pressures, all while building our confidence to handle tough situations with a positive mindset. Each week, I provide a unique PDF activity, created by me, to reinforce the skills we’re learning. I send these materials out through the online classroom, and I encourage families to print them if possible to enhance your child’s class experience. If printing isn’t an option, no worries! Learners can easily follow along on the screen, and a blank sheet of paper works just fine for engaging in the activities. The activities are designed to be both fun and educational, helping your child practice what they learn in class in creative and interactive ways. Let's have fun becoming the best versions of ourselves, together! 😁 Class Layout: Mindfulness check-in Deep breath to prepare our minds and bodies to learn something new Introductions Lesson on the week’s assigned topic/activity related to the week’s assigned topic See you later!
