This course will investigate the differences and similarities of several different air-to-air medium range missiles from various countries. Then the student gets to decide which missile is the best world-wide. This class will discuss the scientific advances, the propulsion systems, and the advantages and disadvantages of each missile to compare them against one another. Additionally, there will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information. The student may download the document and use it to take notes during the class. Also, there will be short video about missiles to stimulate discussion points in the class. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn about the material. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be interactive discussion using power point.
