🔢 Learning Approach:

Our class will use a mix of engaging lectures, hands-on experiments, computer simulations, and collaborative projects. I believe in learning by doing, so students will regularly apply their knowledge through practical activities. Safety is our top priority, and all experiments will be conducted under strict safety protocols.

🔢 Technology in the Classroom:

Students will use various tools including digital sensors, computer simulations, and online physics applications. This exposure not only enhances learning but also prepares students for the tech-driven world of modern science.

🔢 Assessment and Outcomes:

Progress will be measured through a combination of project work, lab reports, quizzes, and a final project where students apply their knowledge to solve a real-world problem. By the end of the course, students will have a solid grasp of key physics concepts, improved problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain physical phenomena in their everyday lives.

🔢 Preparing for the Future:

This course lays a strong foundation for high school physics and beyond. The critical thinking and analytical skills developed here will serve students well in any future scientific endeavors and in understanding our increasingly technological world.

Join us on this physics adventure, where we'll unlock the secrets of the universe together! Get ready to be amazed, challenged, and inspired. Physics isn't just a subject - it's a new way of seeing the world around us.

Yours in learning,

Hi everyone! I'm Miss Tran, and I'm delighted to be your guide through the world of Physics & Science this year.

I hold a Master of Science in Biology with a specialization in Physiology with over ten years of experience teaching. My passion lies in fostering scientific curiosity and helping students see the connections between classroom learning and the world around them.

I've had the privilege of instructing courses ranging from university-level genetics to middle and high school math and physics, giving me a unique insight into how students learn and progress through different stages of their education.

My academic background, combined with my experience in tutoring and teaching at various levels, has honed my ability to break down complex concepts into digestible, engaging lessons.

My teaching philosophy centers on active learning, critical thinking, and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas. I believe in the power of hands-on experiences and visual aids to make abstract concepts tangible and memorable.

In my classes, you can expect:

🔢 1. Connections between classroom learning and real-world applications

🔢 2. A focus on critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills

🔢 3. Engaging, hands-on activities that bring abstract concepts to life

🔢 4. Preparation for advanced studies and standardized tests

🔢 5. A supportive atmosphere that encourages exploration and discussion

My approach is rooted in the belief that science is not just a subject to study, but a way of thinking and exploring our world. I strive to create an environment where curiosity thrives and where students learn to ask questions, analyze data, and draw conclusions like real scientists.

Additionally, I have extensive experience in preparing students for university placement and AP exams. Through specialized tutoring programs, I've helped numerous students navigate the challenging terrain of advanced science coursework and standardized testing, ensuring they're well-equipped for success in higher education.

In addition to my teaching experience, I've contributed to published research in radiotherapy and oncology, which has strengthened my understanding of how fundamental chemistry concepts apply to cutting-edge medical treatments. This real-world application of science is something I'm excited to share with my students.

If you're looking to get started with science, prepare for academic challenges, or simply gain a deeper understanding of the world around you, I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you're looking for a specific topic or schedule. I'm here to help you navigate your scientific adventure!
