This class focuses on The Magic Tree House - Merlin Missions book series. We meet biweekly and focus on a different book each time. Each week students will read a different book from the series. We will meet after to review the book and discuss reading comprehension questions There will be a short activity - either written or a craft each week to work on during class Students are free to drop in/pause each week Book list: January 8: Winter of the Ice Wizard January 22: Carnival at Candlelight February 5: Blizzard of the Blue Moon February 19th: Eve of the Emperor Penguin Please note - more books and additional classes will be added if the group wishes

I believe in providing young learners with the opportunity to make connections between the material being taught and their own lived experiences.
