In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to find the mean, median, mode, and range of a given data set. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visual models will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of adding, subtracting, and dividing with numbers into the hundreds before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be refunded or rescheduled. Thank you!

Students should have writing utensils with them during this class. It would also be helpful (although not necessary) for students to have a calculator with them for this class to practice finding the mean/average of a data set.
