このクラスは 英語で教えられます。

Students will learn the basic concepts of all the required areas of Maths learning in key stage 1 (UK - ages 5 to 7). These key areas cover numbers and place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, simple fractions, measurement, geometry and statistics (pie charts, bar charts etc.,). 

I have delivered maths to all age groups from primary school children (KS1 and KS2) and adults (Functional Skills Maths) for over 30 years. I have spent many years leading interventions (group work) to primary children who were at risk of falling behind in their learning. Making the classes fun helps children to learn, even the most reluctant learners. I understand that for some children, 'doing maths' is a frightening thing - fear of failure can make a child not want to try - I regularly 'make mistakes' in class to show the children that getting things wrong is fine! If they can see that adults get things wrong (and can laugh at their errors) it becomes a safe space for them.

I will provide all source curricula. Handouts will be provided weekly and MUST be printed out for use in class.
